Chuck Norris is an American martial arts superstar with a long career in the movie and TV industry. He was born in Oklahoma in the United Sates. Some people have disputed this and make the suggestion that Chuck Norris simply descended from the heavens.
One of his more popular movies is named Way of the Dragon. This film starred not only himself but Bruce Lee who is another well known martial artist. The movie in many ways is considered his break out film and since then he has gone on to produce many more movies.
According to the Chuck Norris fact book, Bruce Lee may have died as a result of Chuck Norris simply staring at him for a prolonged period of time. Again, these rumours have been disputed.
Not content with only producing clips for the big screen, Chuck Norris moved to TV where he starred as Walker in the Walker, Texas Ranger series. The show was an instant hit in and around the world and has recently been released on DVD & Bluray as a box set.
In 2008, Chuck Norris became briefly involved in politics when he threw his support behind presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. This marked one of the first times Chuck had voiced his personal opinions regarding politics and the direction America was headed.
Recently, Chuck has been speaking at NRA events across America. He spoke about the rights and responsibilities that gun owners have to themselves and others. It’s not surprising given Chuck enjoys hobbies such as hunting and trapping when he is not busy producing films. It’s a hobby he has enjoyed for a large part of his adult life.
